About Me

Hello everyone!

My name is Sara, and I am a freshman undergraduate student in the College of Arts and Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis pursuing majors in Comparative Literature and Environmental Policy and a minor in Public Health.

While home right now is in the charming Midwest, New York is where I’m from.  While you’ll probably get to learn a lot about me (and my rather distinctive writing style) through my blog posts, here’s some more background about who I am.  I love baking, reading, playing the cello, jazz, drinking coffee, dogs, speaking in random accents, and meeting new people.  But most of all, I (quite obviously) LOVE WashU!  Amongst other things on campus, I am involved in Student Union’s Green Events Commission, the Student Admissions Council–(where I give weekly tours to some of you lovely prospective students), and Greek Life.  I have also been blogging about my freshman floor since my first few weeks on campus–which has sparked me to blog for Undergraduate Admissions and reach out to the larger WashU body & prospective students.

In short, my education at this university has already been a rewarding one, and I hope that my blog can help communicate just some of the eye-opening and engaging experiences I’ve had in this community with all of you!
